On Monday, Nov. 26, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will Walk for Heat and Hunger at the Blue Hills Regional Technical High School Field Track.

The Walk for Hunger is sponsored by the Massasoit Community College, using the Blue Hills Regional High School Track. The coats are located at the Massasoit Campus.

Participants can be a walker or be a sponsor. Walk for the cause, ask friends, family and classmates to sponsor you. With your support, local families won't be cold or hungry this winter. There is no pre-registration, sign up at the Student Life Office.

Attendees can also donate winter clothing and non-perishable food items which will go to the Canton Area Help Line, the Food Pantry and the Coats for Kids organization.

Refreshments will be available.

Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain date: Nov. 30.
