Leslie Kramer has been a Canton resident since 1977 and has raised two daughters here. She is now the proud grandmother of two.

In 1982 she and her husband opened Kramer and Company Jewelers on Washington Street across from the Canton Public Library.

"What I miss most is the Canton Public Market which was located right where you and I are standing," said Kramer. "The building that our store is in was not here. The original building which had the market was torn down and this was put in it's place."
