The Boston Herald has named Paula Chin, a librarian in Canton, as the "Cookie Queen" of 2012.
Chin was named the winner of the Boston Herald's Holiday Baking Contest after producing rugelach, which is a pastry filled with dried fruit and nuts.
Chin came out on top of four other finalists in the contest; testers of her dish said Chin's rugelach won for its "delicious sweetness and very tasty pastry," according to the Herald.
