Carmen C. Sarro, 94, of Jamaica Plain, passed away at the Armenian Nursing Home in Boston on Friday, Sept. 24, according to CurrentObituary.com.

Born and raised in Boston, Sarro attended Boston Schools and was an Army Veteran of WW II. He worked for Precision Coating for many years before retiring.

Sarro lived in Jamaica Plain for more than 65 years and was a lifetime member of the DAV. Beloved husband of the late Doris (Arthur), father of Linda A. Cassio and her husband Charles of Canton, and Eileen D. Mason and her husband Gerard of Dedham. Brother of Elizabeth DiPerri of East Boston, Anthony Sarro of Revere and Marie Brazzo of Winthrop. He was also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10 a.m.

Visiting hours prior to the mass will be held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
