Canton Police Log: Several Arrested for Drug Violations
The following information was provided by the Canton Police Department daily log. Where an arrest was made, it does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Jan. 18
9:25 a.m. - A hit and run motor vehicle accident at the Rte. 138 gas and service station on Royall Street. A 32-year-old man from Canton left the scene where there was property damage.
9:35 a.m. - Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported at a residence on Pleasant Street.
5:37 p.m. - A 23-year-old man from Central Falls, Rhode Island was arrested at North End Motors on Turnpike Street for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Saturday, Jan. 19
4:02 p.m. - There was a dispute on Brayton Circle. Peace was restored.
6:25 p.m. - A 19-year-old Norwood man was arrested for marijuana/drug violation. The individual was charged with distribution of Class D drugs and possession to distribute Class D drugs.
Sunday, Jan. 20
2:58 p.m. - A 28-year-old Canton woman was transported to the hospital after she was found in possession of heroin. She will face charges for possession of Class A drugs.
Tuesday, Jan. 22
12:59 p.m. - A 27-year-old Lowell man was arrested on Neponset Street for conspiracy to violate drug law.
