Accomplishments: “There are many Keys to Awesomeness” according to Blue Hills Regional Technical Senior Sean Piasecki. “One of the most important keys is my family," the teen said.
Piasecki feels lucky to have the patience and support of an immediate and extended family. “I have a big family who cares about me and is always willing to help me out, no matter what,” he said.

He receives that support from the teachers in Blue Hills’ Electrical Technology Program too. They “are very supportive” and the people he works with at his co-op job have “been great about teaching me all they can.”
Working since age 14, he holds multiple jobs and works hard in all he does. "Doing the best you can is important. (It is) the only way to succeed in life,” he said.
His co-op job has taught him discipline "and about working in the real world. The people…work very hard and have spent time teaching me all they can," the senior said.
And Judy Bass, Communications Specialist at Blues Hills , agrees.
“Everyone cites Sean’s amazing work ethic as one of his outstanding traits,” she said.
Piasecki said all of his hard work has led him to become a leader in school and on the field. “Being the captain of the football team…was a great honor for me.”
He led the team to be the “best that we could.” The Blue Hills football team capturing the Mayflower League Champion title and making it to the Super Bowl is something “I am very proud of,” Piasecki said.
And he has much to be proud of off the field as well. Piasecki is a recipient of the Adams Scholarship, a member of the National Honor Society, and active in school athletics. He ranks tenth in the Class of 2011, and has a GPA of 3.26.
