Fathers, Daughters Getting Ready to Hit the Dance Floor at St. John's
The Canton school is hosting its annual Father-Daughter/Someone Special Dance next month.
Dads, grandfathers, uncles, stepdads and special someones are getting ready to hit the dance floor with their girls in February.
The St. John School Annual Father-Daughter/Someone Special Dance is being held on Friday, February 3, from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the Canton school.
Canton girls in grades pre-k through eight will have the chance to bust a move with their dates. Tickets are $15 for an adult and $10 for a child. The event includes dancing, games, raffles and refreshments, according to organizers.
Organizers are urging folks to buy their tickets in advance.
Robin Puccio Horrigan said the event often sells out. "A very limited number of tickets will be available at the door, and this event does sell out every year," she said.
The girls and their dates will have the opportunity to win the grand raffle prize, a Kindle Fire, along with other smaller prizes. The kids can get a temporary tattoo at the activity table and of course, have a photo taken with their special someone.
To purchase tickets, stop by St. John's School during daytime hours or call the school at (781)828-2130.
