The fourth of July festivities at the Galvin Middle School went ahead as planned. The rain which appeared earlier in the day with down pours at one point, neglected to show itself by 5:00 pm when the festivities began.
"It's Too Cool" of Canton, had several blow up play features for the kids to climb on. Returning this year, The Reminisants Band, with a line up of great dance tunes from the 1960's to the present. The burgers, sausage and dogs were tonight's featured fare which everyone loved.
Fireworks started right on time and the blankets were like a carpet for the Galvin Middle School field.
