How It Works: Enjoy some back to school savings from all the merchants, plus some free samples at Especially for Pets and Hilliards, pumpkin painting at Ceramics a la Carte and special guests and entertainment on Saturday between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Village Toy Shop will have a visit from Wally the Green Monster and balloon animals, too.

Deal 2: 40% off at Justice
How It Works: "Like" Justice on Facebook and receive a coupon for 40% off your next purchase.

Deal 3: Free Admission to Blue Hills on Discovery Days
How It Works: Mass Audubon is offering Free Admission to the Blue Hills Trailside Museum on September 10 for its Fall Bird Migration Program. Save time by filling out the free admission ticket in advance.

Deal 4: Free Riding Lesson
How It Works: New students who prepay for four private riding lessons can receive the fifth one free at Victory Stables in Stoughton. Contact the stable for details at 781-344-0202.

How It Works: CVS has one-subject Caliber brand notebooks on sale at three for $1.00, perfect for your last minute back to school shopping. Must use your CVS card to get the savings.
