Garden Club Gets Canton in the Holiday Spirit

A look into the Canton Garden Club's Holiday Boutique and Holiday House Tour.

The Canton Garden Club's hard work is on display throughout town today.

The Garden Club's Holiday Boutique is being held today from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Canton Public Library. Marie Duffy, publicist for the club, said there will be dried and fresh greens, holiday floral arrangements, fresh baked goods, crafts and custom bows, as well as small tabletop trees for sale.

"The Garden Club has a lot of talented and artistic members, who have been working very hard to create a wonderful event," Duffy said. "They are also more than willing to help out with creative ideas and advice."

The Christmas House Tour, running today from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., showcases the imaginative work of the Garden Club members in five locations. Three large homes, one condominium, one great or common room at the featured condominium complex and the library itself are part of the tour.

Tickets are $25.00 per person and a tour map is provided with the ticket.  Tickets are available at Helen's Hair Styling, Pratt Realty and the Savoy Day Spa, or by calling 781-828-8552.

All the proceeds from this weekend go to the Garden Club's work around Canton, planting trees, beautifying intersections and maintaining the Welcome to Canton signs areas, plus more.  In addition, the Club awards four scholarships each year to four graduating Canton High School seniors.
