Get a jumpstart on celebrating the weekend and enjoying your time away from work and school. Here are a few local events to help you and your family have some fun around Canton. TGIF!
1. Bring your favorite, furry friend to Especially for Pets in Canton for the Hearts & Paws- Valentine's Fund Raiser for K9s at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
2. Get the whole family outdoors for some exercise on Saturday. Try the Winter Family Fun Safari: Hike Around Houghton's Pond at 1:00 p.m.
3. Learn a bit about Irish history. On Saturday at 5:30 p.m., stop by the Irish Cultural Center's Historical Presentation: "St. Patrick: The Irish Legend."
4. Don't forget the JFK School's Annual Winter Fling! The fun starts at 10:00 a.m. at the JFK School in Canton. Enjoy a cake walk, raffles, games and more.
5. Make your Sunday night a fun night. Enjoy Cornhole Tournaments at The Halfway Cafe in Canton starting at 9:00 p.m.
