Hurricane Sandy: Power Outage Update in Canton

More than 600 were without power as of Tuesday morning.

 

Update (2:50 p.m.) - According to NSTAR's power outage map, approximately 700 customers in Canton were without power as of 2:50 p.m.

The strong winds may have died down, but many in Canton are still feeling the wrath of Hurricane Sandy. 

As of 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, 629 NSTAR customers were still without power, according to NSTAR's outage map.

A major road in Canton, MA (Dedham Street) still without power. What's up NSTAR?.
WBZ AM Radio reported that the major utltities here is MA are sending their EXTRA trucks down to NY and NJ to help with their clean-up. What about NSTAR's regular customers?

Thanks Marleen - just updated the post; about 700 reported w/o power as of 2:50 p.m. or so, according to NSTAR. We'll keep updating the site with numbers as NSTAR provides them.

Yep Dedham street going on 24 hours without power now. Whatever food was in the frig will now be thrown out. :(
