Temperley is a Quincy Republican candidate running for Congress in the new 8th District, which includes Canton.

Temperley will look to challenge Democrat US-Rep Stephen Lynch, D-Boston in November. Before that, he will oppose Joseph Selvaggi of Boston in the Sept. 6 primary election.
