Meet Mindy!
Canton Animal Shelter's pet of the week is Mindy. Mindy is a 5-year-old long haired black cat with huge green eyes.
Mindy was brought in as a stray. She was covered in mats and very skinny.
The shelter believes that Mindy did belong to someone and possibly got lost because she was fixed. Her disposition is loveable and playful. She cuddles and purrs and loves to be around people.
Won't you come in and meet Mindy? She deserves to be in a loving home.

If I didn't have 3 cats of my own and my visiting grandson cat Simba, then I would surely take Mindy. I spent over an hour at the shelter and this cat not only looks like one of those cats on the cat food commercials because of her long coat but her temperament is purrfect. She is sweet and rubs against you and looks at you when you're talking like she understands what you're saying. She is a doll!
