PHOTOS: Halloween at the Hazel Boone Dance Studio
It's more fun to dance in your Halloween costume!
Hazel Boone, a pioneer in the education of dance, opened her first studio in Boston in the year 1910. Boone has been hailed for her contribution to the profession.
When Boone passed away in 1954, Sandra Simpson Philpott, Boones youngest daughter took over the studio leaving her own successful dance career to carry on her mother's work.
In 1998, the torch was passed again. this time to Holly Costa, Sandra's daughter, the newest director of the Hazel Boone Dance Studios.
Hazel Boone Dance Studios is located at One New Boston Drive in Canton. On Saturday, October 27, dancers, students and friends alike were invited to celebrate Halloween festivities in costume. And dancing in costume makes it that much more fun!
There were many amazing and creative costumes with prizes for all. For more information on the Hazel Boone Studios contact: (781)326 - 2338
