On those days when it's outside and temperatures are in the single digits, it doesn't mean you need to stay indoors.

If you like to cross country ski, the Ponkapoag Golf Course is the place to be. The Ponkapoag Pond at the rear of the golf course has a four mile trail going around the pond. The trail isn't clear because of the snow so you'd be better off wearing snow boots than sneakers.

Before you leave the Ponkapoag parking lot, stop in at the Metropolis Ice Skating Rink. Public Skating is offered almost every day.

Or take a right out of the parking lot and head over to Big Blue. A short ski run but lots of fun.
