Although forecasters are still determining the exact time Hurricane Irene will hit on Sunday, Canton will be getting some wet weather today.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for several counties in Massachusetts, including Norfolk County, along with parts of Rhode Island and Connecticut for today.

"Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening," the NWS stated.

"The main threat" is strong and damaging winds and a second concern is hail, according to the NWS.

A potential for a flood watch also exists for this afternoon and evening, according to the NWS.
