Putting the Wow in the Bow Wow

More events happening at Especially for Pets than can be counted on one paw.

This spa treatment is for the dogs. Especially for Pets in Cobb Corner held a Dog Massage Event Saturday and made many furry friends quite content. The owners booked their pets for the charity event, which was sponsored by 4 Paws Massage.

One pampered pet, Riley, would "be massaged all day if she could." She, like many of the dogs, gets tense and stressed out and comes in for a massage.

Zoe, a Yorkshire Terrier, also had a massage. "She has a tough life," says her owner with a smile.

Finnegan, an Australian Shepard dog, came in with his owner to buy some Saturday afternoon treats, which look like real cookies from a bakery. Australian Shepards, it should be noted, are highly intelligent herding dogs from North America, having nothing to do with Australia.

Ann Dupuis, a professional dog trainer affiliated with several upcoming training classes at the Canton store, was on hand to discuss the upcoming meeting of the Dog Scouts of America, a national group with a local chapter forming in the area, called "Boston and Beyond:  Troop 215." This group is very affordable to join and creates a welcome environment for new and experienced dog owners and their canine friends to enjoy time together and learn new training skills.

They did the massages for a $10 donation. My dog really enjoyed herself LOL! She's the Yorkie in this article. They do a lot of great things for charity at this store. My dog gets groomed there too...she loves her groomer Sue!
