Visions for Vacancies in Canton: What Should Fill Old KFC Building in 2013?
What do you think should fill a space once used by KFC and A&W Root Beer?
As you pass by through Cobbs Corner, you may recall there used to be a Kenucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and an A&W Root Beer restaurant at 120 Sharon St., where Canton, Sharon and Stoughton intersect.
But the building, which includes a drive-through, has been vacant for some time.
Now, with a new year right around the corner, if you had your choice, what would you use the building for? Another restaurant? A book store? Or perhaps a new independently-owned coffee shop?

Let's forgo the chains and franchises and support a small business. A bakery would be ideal. There aren't many places where you can get fresh bread. Perhaps one that caters to special diet needs (i.e. Kosher, Gluten-Free etc...) Or even better– a Deli/Bakery.

I heard a rumor that Panera was coming. I'd like to see a bookstore back in Canton though.

Chipotle!! I've always thought that would be a great place to put one. I know so many people in stoughton/canton that would go there frequently! Trader Joes is a great idea too. I like the idea of a bakery, however considering the fact that I live right down the street from the location it could be dangerous for me :)
