Canton Patch is a new, local website that offers you a daily dose of Canton news, sports, photos, videos, events and announcements. Our hyper-local coverage allows you to get your backyard news in one place.

Our staff will be out in town, covering everything from school plays, to soccer games, to selectmen's meetings and breaking news. If there is an accident on Washington Street, you can check Patch for information. If there is a playoff game, you can check Patch for the scores and analysis. If you need to find something to do over the weekend, you can check Patch for a listing of events. We are a one-stop-shop for Canton.

Another feature on Patch is our business directory, which features a brief description and photo of every business in town. From hair salons to banks, you can find what you need right here on Canton Patch. Our listings include hours of operation, photos of the businesses and contact information for the shops. Whether you just moved to Canton, or are a lifelong resident, you can rely on Patch for your online directory needs.

Canton Patch is a site for the whole community. We encourage you to create a free Patch account, and browse our directory, read our stories and add your own photos, comments, videos, events and announcements. The site belongs to not only the freelance staff at Patch, but to the residents of Canton. We want everyone to participate on Canton Patch by posting comments, engaging in discussions, entering events to the calendar or posting an announcement. (Weddings, births, obituaries, and awards are all found in the announcements section.) Canton Patch is a great way to get involved with your town. (And you won't even have to leave your house!)
