What's the Status on the Road Work on Washington Street?
Crews in town recently gave Canton Patch a brief updated on the road project.
Drivers along Washington Street in Canton have no doubt noticed or experienced the ongoing roadwork in recent months.
But what's the status of the project itself? Have there been any recent updates? Canton Patch recently checked in with the town's Department of Public Works to see the status.
The road was paved over on Saturday, Nov. 10 and will remain open while crews paint the stripes during the course of the week, according to Canton officials.

I'd be willing to bet that within 2 months, part of the newly paved road will be torn up for another project. This seems to always happen in Canton. A road is newly paved and shortly afterwards, parts are torn up for a project that should have been originally included.
Also, Pleasant St needs to be repaved. Try riding a bicycle along it. It's difficult, with not enough room when cars pass and the very rough surface that frequently causes flat tires.
