The 18-year-old senior was awarded the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, earning him four years tuition at any Massachusetts state college or university.

While he originally wanted to pursue architecture, Connor realized that engineering was the place for him. He plans to study mechanical engineering at college.
With a 3.51 GPA, Connor ranks 13 out of 194 in Blue Hills’ senior class. His combined MCAS scores in English and Math place Connor in the top 25% of the school district.
More than an academic superstar, he is a co-captain of the basketball team, and plays on the football team. “Basketball and football are things I love doing.”
Connor has held a steady part-time job for four years, and he tutors his young neighbor in math.
