Come See Cinderella Live! in Canton!

Last week I wrote about the JFK Elementary School's production of the Mything Links. This week, it is time for the Dean S. Luce Elementary School's production of Cinderella

While each of the schools does a great job, the Luce School Play  will always hold a special place in my heart because for six years I ran the play as the parent coordinator, working alongside a very talented and dedicated director.  It was definitely a labor of love. I still get a little nostalgic but it is nice to also simply relax in the audience and enjoy the show.

The Luce School Play is a little different from the other two elementary schools' plays in Canton, in that theirs is a 4th and 5th grade play–not just a 5th grade play. Personally I think that is great. It gives the kids two opportunities to participate.

Cinderella will be presented by the Luce School 4th and 5th graders on Friday February 1 and Saturday February 2 at 7:00 p.m at Canton High School's Morse Auditorium.  Admission is $5.00 and tickets are available at the door.

It is always a fun family event suitable for all ages.  I know from experience that the students, as well as all the adults involved, have been working hard to make this show a success. And, it is always a great performance. So come on out and support the Luce school students and enjoy what is sure to be a memorable performance by Canton's talented students.

Once again - Break a Leg to the Cast & Crew!
