When we at New England BBQ design a menu for a Super Bowl party, we try to take into account a variety of factors. We always try to use items that can be prepared in advance, allowing hosts to actually enjoy their own party rather than running into the kitchen (to miss either the game or the important commercials.) We also recommend items that are specific to the teams who are playing, which for this year lends itself toward "man food": Mini steak and cheese sandwiches and blackbean and mango salsa for Steelers fans or beer-simmered brats for Packers fans.
