On Tuesday June 12th, my daughter was picking up her sister at the Hansen Elementary School at the end of the school day and was struck in the the side of her Blue SUV by an adult who backed her car into the side of our family car. The description given was a woman of Greek or Latino decent, with a burgandy/red colored minivan who had multiple children in the vehicle with her.
My daughter was parked in our car when the woman backed her minivan into the drivers side door of our car. She proceeded to get out of the car, tell my daughter there were no damages and then left the scene. As a parent, as an adult, I encourage this person to come forward and contact the faculty at the Hansen School to take responsibility for the accident. I also urge the CPD and the School to assist in my plea for help because this took place on school grounds, and she couldve hit a student.
