DESCRIPTION:As summer begins\, local Reform congregation Temple Beth Davi
 d in Canton welcomes their new spiritual leader\, Rabbi Emma Gottlieb\, 
 as she assumes her role of full-time Rabbi and Educator. Everyone from S
 outh Shore area communities are invited to join us at her first Evening 
 Shabbat service on Friday\, July 6th at 6:30 pm and Shabbat Morning Serv
 ice on Saturday\, July 7th at 10:30am\, with a weekly Torah Study on Sat
 urday at 9:30am. &nbsp\;\nRabbi Gottlieb brings a wealth of knowledge fr
 om her years as Rabbi at her former congregation of Temple Beth Israel i
 n Plattsburgh\, NY. &nbsp\;While there\, she introduced many programs\, 
 such as a Torah Tot curriculum in the school\, Tot Shabbat\, Mishkan T&r
 squo\;filah\,&nbsp\;Music &amp\; Meditation on Yom Kippur\, along with m
 any other activities. &nbsp\;\nShe believes music to be an integral part
  in engaging others in worship\, by bringing people and God together in 
 sacred time and space. &nbsp\;Along with her Religious Studies education
 \, she had a dual concentration in Vocal Music as well. &nbsp\;Rabbi Got
 tlieb comes to Temple Beth David ready to lead others in song as she hop
 es to guide the community through teaching and dialogue\, Jewish values 
 and rituals of our heritage\, and engaging us in the spiritual and beaut
 iful Jewish worship.\nThe Temple Beth David family is looking forward to
  welcoming their new spiritual leader\, and encourages all current membe
 rs\, as well as unaffiliated Jews and Jewish families to visit them at t
 heir weekly services. &nbsp\;All year long\, this vibrant Reform temple 
 prays together each Friday and Saturday. Children are always welcome and
  encouraged to attend. The first Friday of each month is an earlier 6:30
 pm service geared towards families with children\, although adults will 
 find these services enjoyable as well. &nbsp\;For all of their programs
