DESCRIPTION:On Summer Sundays at 9:30 AM the United Church of Christ in C
 anton invites you to&nbsp\;worship. Fellowship with refreshments follows
  the service. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first
  Sunday of each month and is open to all who would follow Jesus Christ r
 egardless of membership. Our intergenerational choir welcomes new volunt
 eers.\nAs &ldquo\;a &lsquo\;Good Neighbor&rsquo\; Church in the Communit
 y&rdquo\;\,we&nbsp\;sponsor the Canton Community Kindergarten:Tel. (781)

 ly AA groups. We also support the Canton Helpline and the Boston City Mi
 ssion Society. Our choir carols at Christmas&nbsp\;by the bank. Our past
 or and deacons celebrate a monthly Protestant Communion service at the H
 ellenic Home.\nOther recent community ministries have included Bible Stu
 dy and a free Bereavement Support Group and&nbsp\;last summers visit of&
 nbsp\;two Chernobyl Youth\, victims of Russia's nuclear accident\, whom 
 our church sponsors.\nThis June we cooperated with Temple Beth David and
  First Parish Unitarian Universalist to host ShelterBox Day in Canton to
  help households whose homes have been destroyed.\nLocally we also host 
 seasonal Estate Sales and Fairs. Our Fellowship Hall has offered its sta
 ge for local family\, dramatic\, social and musical events.\nOn June 24t
 h the theme of our Sunday Worship will be "Celebration of Song in Psalm"
  with Howard Worona\, Cantorial Soloist from Temple Beth David\, along w
 ith Sarah Moyer\, Thea Lobo\, Alex Nishibun\, and Benjamin Bouton partne
 ring our Adult Volunteer Choir. Randall Thompson's 1962 "The Lord is My 
 Shepherd"&nbsp\;commissioned in memory of sister of a church member\, Do
 rothy Drake\, will be sung and Pastor Steve will preach on "Faith to Sti
 ll the Storm".&nbsp\;\nWe offer Ministry Teams for worship\, education\,
  outreach\, resources and fellowship.\nSummer Hours for the Church Offic
