O’Neill and Associates, New England’s leading full-service government affairs and public relations firm, announced today that it is strengthening its digital and social media practice with the addition of new account executive Tony Catinella. Mr. Catinella will support the digital and social media needs of clients across multiple industries. Mr. Catinella executes comprehensive social media campaigns using a network of channels, including websites, blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn and others. Mr. Catinella helps clients raise brand awareness, promote events, create communities and sustain social engagement. He also monitors the competitive landscape for clients for social media trends and opportunities.

Before joining O’Neill and Associates, Mr. Catinella was the editor of the Hingham, Weymouth, Canton, Dedham and West Roxbury AOL/Patch.com sites that consistently ranked first in unique visitors for the region.

Mr. Catinella previously served as a sports reporter for the Canton Citizen and a reporter for the Patriot Ledger. He also has experience in radio, including work as a street team member for 98.5 The Sports Hub on CBS Radio and maintaining the website for Clear Channel’s Jam’n 94.5 FM.
Mr. Catinella graduated from Franklin Pierce University summa cum laude with a B.A.in mass communication with a concentration in journalism and a minor in advertising. While there, he served as editor-in-chief of the university’s Pierce Arrow Newspaper and also wrote content for the Boston Bruins website. Mr. Catinella currently resides in Canton, MA.
