5 Things Dec 19: Holiday Party at the Canton Senior Center

The Conservation Commission and Finance Committee meet tonight.

 

1.  A Still Life painting class sponsored by the Canton Art Associaction is being offered from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Canton Public Library in the art and activities room. Contact Ellen McHugo at emchugo@aol.com.

2. The Canton Food Pantry is open from 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. The Canton Food Pantry is sponsored by the Canton Area Helpline, a private, non-profit corporation. The Food Pantry provides free food to eligible Canton residents.  We serve many individuals and families, on a temporary basis, who have been affected by economic problems.  The Food Pantry is operated entirely by volunteers who wish to help their fellow townspeople, by providing a basic human necessity.

3. There's a Holiday Party at the Canton Senior Center at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy a sing along and then Roast Pork lunch provided by HESSCO Elder Services.

4. Do you still need more gifts? How about supporting the local businesses in Canton? Gift certificates from any one of the local hair salons, nail salons, a new massage therapy place opened at the Village Shoppes in Cobbs Corner so a massage gift certificate would be a welcome gift. You don't have to venture too far to find just what you need.

5. Meetings Tonight:

7:00 p.m. The Conservation Commission meets at the Pequitside Tavern, 79 Pleasant Street to discuss the Current Agenda.

7:30 - 9:00 p.m. The Finance Committee meets in the library community room.
