5 Things Jan 9: Tot Time and the Magic Carpet Book Club at the Canton Public Library today.

1. Grades FDK-5 it's an Early Release Day for Common Planning. There will be no 1/2 Day Pre-K or 1/2 Day K.

2. The Canton Food Pantry is open today from 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. Location: 960R Washington Street, rear entrance of the Rodman Building. To sign up to use the pantry, go in on the days they are open. The Canton Food Pantry is sponsored by the Canton Area Helpline, a private, non-profit corporation.

3. Every Wednesday from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. the Village Toy Shoppe, 95 Washington Street located in the Village Shoppes has Storytime and Fun. It's a perfect relaxed laid back atmosphere for toddlers and pre-schoolers. No sign up, just drop in!

4. It's Tot Time at the Canton Public Library from 10:25 - 11:10 a.m. for children ages 9 months to 3 years. Location: Library Community Room.

5. Children in Grades 1 - 5 meet in the Canton Public Library Children's Room for their very own Magic Carpet Book Club. Register in the Jr. Room.
