5 Things Oct 24: The Countdown to Halloween Begins

1. From 10:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. - There is a Still Life Painting class sponsored by the Canton Art Association Location: Library Art & Activities Room. Contact: Ellen McHugo  emchugo@aol.com

2. From 3-4 p.m. it's time for teens. Decorate Halloween Cupcakes for Teens! Come decorate some ghoulish cupcakes for Halloween at the Canton Public Libray. For seventh-12th grade. Registration is required. Contact: Carolyn Elkort (781)821-5027 celkort@ocln.org

3. The Canton Public Libray has canceled the free seminar presented by Early Investors which was running from 7-8:30 p.m.

4. The Canton Department of Recreation  is offering a class in photography on Oct 25 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Armando Recreation Center. Pete Sutton who has more than 20 years of experience behind the lens as both a videographer and fine art photographer. The class will focus on how to get the most out of a DSLR camera. Not just how to use the camera, but how to achieve the shots you want. $60. residents and $70. for non-residents. (This class is also offered on Saturday, Oct 27)

5. The Canton High volleyball team will be hosting Stoughton in a big Hockomock League match today at 4:45 p.m.
