Canton Girl Scouts Host International Festival

The Girl Scouts held the festival at St. John's.

The celebrated with some international flair.

On February 12, the scouts from Canton and Stoughton came out to celebrate the International Festival held at in Canton. The event attracted a crowd of more than 140.

Each year the Girl Scouts host the International Festival in conjunction with World Thinking Day, according to Media Manager Olivia Perry.

The girls, dressed in attire that represents the different countries, hosted tables with displays and information from the different countries feautring food and crafts, Perry said. The girls represented 17 countries this year.

This year's theme for World Thinking Day was "We can save our planet," Perry said.
