Be prepared for today and tomorrow, Canton.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a wintry mix starting this afternoon and ending Thursday night.
The snow will start in Canton after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, although daytime accumulation will be less than one inch, according to the NWS. However, tonight's storm could bring two to four inches of snow to town.
After 11:00 p.m. tonight, the storm changes over to rain and continues through Thursday. The messy mix includes fog, temperatures in the 40s and less than a half inch of new snow tomorrow.
There is a chance of freezing rain and slick roadways, according to the Winter Weather Advisory.
Keep the umbrellas, boots and ice melt handy, folks!
