Pet of the Week at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts

Meet Long Haired Suzy!

This week the Canton Animal Shelter has no new cats available for adoption so we went to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern, Massachusetts to find a little one who is need of a home.

Suzie is a beautiful long haired 7-year-old spayed female cat. Her owner developed allergies and couldn't keep Suzie, so now she is looking for a new family.

Suzie is very sweet and cuddly and gets along well with other cats.

The Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts APCSM is a new non-profit organization that has formed to continue to serve the animals and people of the community.

The MSPCA's Metro-South Animal Care and Adoption Center is scheduled to close at the end of September; however, the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts is working closely with and has received endorsement from the MSPCA to continue animal sheltering in the area.

The shelter is located on the Easton / Brockton line in the building formerly housing the MSPCA.

The Mission of the APCSM is to operate an open admission animal care and adoption facility, with focus on prevention of cruelty to animals, education and outreach, low-cost spay/neuter programs and helping animals and people in the community.

There are many other cats besides Suzie who are available and in need of a home. You can go to their website APCSM and click on adoptions.
