Pet of the Week: Izzy

Meet Izzy. Izzy was found in someone’s basement after she gave birth to a litter of kittens. She was very scared and not very trusting of humans. She was a very good mom who was very protective of her babies. She and her the kittens were rescued and brought them to the shelter, during which time she has come out of her shell. She is very sweet and likes to be petted. She would love to finally have a home of her own.

Izzy is a cat with a personality. Her kittens are adorable but she is much more.

The Canton Animal Shelter has many kittens but they also have older cats who are in desperate need of a home.

Older cats are more settled and are often times more cuddly. They like to snuggle with their owner.

Come by the Canton Animal Shelter and take home one of these loveable animals.
