Toddler Tuesday Kicks off Winter Programs in Canton

The Mass Audubon Visual Arts Center offers programs every Tuesday for youngsters.

It's time for Toddler Tuesdays at Mass Audubon.

The Mass Audubon offers a preschool program every Tuesday, when school is in session, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Each week there is a different theme and kids ages two to five can participate with an adult. The program begins with a children’s story followed by an activity or game based upon the theme of the story. The class concludes with a hands-on art project.

On February 7, Toddler Tuesday will focus on Jan Brett’s The Hat and a LIVE hedgehog will be on hand for children to meet. On February 14, the theme will be Tracking. Children will walk like some of our Massachusetts animals and make real animal tracks from a mold to take home. On February 28, the theme will be bears. Children will learn about a variety of bears, play a guessing bear game and make a bear den.
