Canton Writes Seeking Entries

The annual Canton Writes contest is seeking entries for this year's writing competition.

Aspiring writers are wanted to enter the annual

Each writer may submit one story, one poem or one of each. Submissions must be no more than 1,000 words.

All entries must be submitted as a printed document delivered to the Canton Library by March 7, 2012 along with the Submission Form. (Submission forms are also available at the Library service desks.)

Winning entries will be selected anonymously by a panel of judges in categories for Elementary, Middle School, High School, Young Adult (19-30), and Adult.

Prize-winning entries will be published in the Canton Citizen. Awards presentations and readings will be held April 10, 2012, 7:00 pm in the Community Room at the Canton Public Library. For questions about the contest please contact Kathy Fox-Alfano at kfoxalfano@gmail.com
