Jazz Echo at Open Book Coffeehouse

The Open Book Coffeehouse continues its seventh season on Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 pm, with musical ensemble Jazz Echo. Jazz Echo is a Boston area quintet that plays original compositions, along with jazz standards by Billy Strayhorn, Thelonius Monk, Horace Silver, Sonny Rollins and many others. The Open Book Coffeehouse is located in the Community Room of the Canton Public Library, 786 Washington Street, Canton, MA.

The members of Jazz Echo are Bob Abruzese, bass, Bryan Cetlin, piano, Dave Kantor, drums, Randy Kravette, trumpet and Corey Lareau, tenor saxophone.

Bob Abruzese has been a fixture on the Boston music circuit since the early 1990's and has toured throughout the U.S. and Europe. Bob has performed with The Shirley Lewis Experience, Boston Baked Blues, Amyl Justin and many other groups.

Bryan Cetlin is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. His original compositions are a key part of the Jazz Echo sound.

Dave Kantor earned his BA in music from Brandeis University where he was a founding member of the Brandeis Jazz Ensemble. Dave has performed with the Roy Scott Big Band, Occasional Sax and Rave.

Randy Kravette plays regularly in the Boston area with Jazz Echo and with the Nate Aronow Nextet. Randy has also appeared with the Boston Jazz Workshop and Bop-Kick.

Corey Lareau has toured with the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra throughout the U.S., Japan and Mexico. Corey has also performed with Ray Charles, Michael Brecker, Tom Harrell, Conrad Herwig, Paquito D'Rivera and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
