Pot Of Gold Lottery

Temple Beth David of the South Shore is pleased to announce a new Pot Of Gold game! This is a progressive 50/50 money raffle game that has a potential of being played up to eight weeks. The object of the game is to try to unlock the Pot of Gold with the correct key. There are 48 keys that fit the lock, but only one will open it.

Here’s how to play. Each raffle ticket sold is put into a large drum. At the time of the drawing, six tickets are chosen. These 6 ticket winners will attempt to unlock the Pot Of Gold with the right key. Players need not be present at the time of drawing. Cash consolation prizes will be awarded to those ticket winners whose keys do not open the lock. If the selected key opens the lock, that winner takes home the prize. If none of the 6 keys open the lock, the money carries over to the next drawing, the number of keys are reduced by 6, the drum is emptied and new tickets will be collected. The longer the game is played, the better the chances of a large prize.

To purchase tickets in person, come by Temple Beth David, 1060 Randolph St., Canton starting Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 9am to noon. Plenty of parking. Tickets will also be available from members of the TBD Fundraising Committee. For more information or to purchase tickets, send an email with your name and phone number to: PotOfGold@templebethdavid.com. The
first drawing will be at 11:30am on 9/23. Drawing dates will be advertised in the temple lobby. Tickets cost $1 per ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, $10 for 14 tickets, $15 for 20 tickets, and $20 for 30 tickets. This is a perfect game of chance. All are welcome. Come by and try your luck!
