PHOTOS: Canton High School to Present 'Grease' Tonight

The Canton High School Drama Club' is presenting the musical "Grease" with an opening of Friday at 7 p.m. 

Grease is a 1971 musical written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. It's named for the 1950's working class youth sub-culture known as greasers. The show is set in 1959 at a fictional Rydell High School and follows 10 working class teenagers navigate love, cars and drive-ins.

Directed by Stephanie Shapiro, Grease is sure to have you tapping your feet and singing along to tunes that most of you will know. Shapiro always puts in so much time and effort to all of her shows.

Musical director is John Russell and costume designers are Susan Harrington and Laurie DeMaggio along with Performing Arts Coordinator Sarah Collmer.

Showtimes: Friday, 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov 10, 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.
