What You Can and Can't Bring Into the Life is Good Festival

Items not allowed into Canton's Life is Good Festival 2013.

What is allowed into the festival?

  • Strollers and small wagons
  • Blankets (may not exceed 6'x8') Inserting stakes, poles, or any other objects into the ground, or use of ropes, cords, tape etc. to reserve space is prohibited
  • Soft-sided coolers
  • Denim jackets
  • Combs and other personal hygiene support products
  • Regular-size/unframed backpacks
  • Two factory-sealed water bottles up to 1 liter each
  • Imaginary friends (please note real friends will be required to present a ticket for entry)
  • Empty Camelback, Nalgene or other empty clear plastic container
  • Small digital cameras or point-and-click 35mm cameras
  • Binoculars
  • A good attitude 

What is NOT allowed into the festival?

(Note: Everybody will be subject to search entering the festival site!)

  • Weapons and illegal substances of any kind (this includes but is not limited to tazers, phazers, lasers and any other dangerous futuristic devices that have yet to be invented)
  • Alcohol (alcohol will be sold at the festival)
  • Chairs (including soft sided collapsible)
  • Bad Attitudes
  • Umbrellas
  • Framed or large backpacks
  • Glass containers of ANY kind
  • Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles
  • Bicycles inside the festival grounds (bike racks are available onsite next to the church entrance)
  • Fireworks and explosives
  • Jetpacks or hoverboards
  • Instruments and laser pointers (these are super annoying)
  • Picnic baskets
  • Lawn furniture
  • Large or hard-sided coolers (including thermoses)
  • Tents
  • Pets or live animals (except service dogs) of any kind, even friendly ones
  • Cyborgs and robots (particularly evil ones) and any other type of artificial intelligence
  • Video or Audio recording equipment â€" no video recording will be allowed
  • Professional still camera equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms, or commercial use rigs)
  • No illegal vending is permitted - no unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed
  • No tailgating!
  • No camping!
  • Bad Magic tricks
