Your Guide: Canton Wiffle Ball Tournament

A look at one event in Canton this weekend.

The Canton Fire Department will be hosting its 1st annual Wiffleball Tourney next month to benefit the Jimmy Fund.

The community is invited to participate in the double elimination  tournament which begins at 10 a.m. at the lower baseball field at Canton High School on Sept. 28.

Wiffle balls and bats will be provided at the tournament.  The games will be six innings and will have no actual base runners, with imaginary runners only. Any combination of two missed swings, called strikes, and/or foul balls is an out. Four balls is a walk. Hit batters do not take a base.
