Bank of Canton Announces Promotion, Award

The bank promoted Sarah Tesorero to Marketing Manager and announced that Brian J. Allsop has been named a Five Star Professional.

is pleased to announce a promotion and an award. The bank promoted Sarah Tesorero to Marketing Manager and announced that Brian J. Allsop has been named a Five Star Professional.

Sarah Tesorero has been promoted from Marketing Specialist to Marketing Manager at Bank of Canton. 

Tesorero previously worked as Operations and Marketing Manager at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island and as Assistant in Major Gifts at Wheaton College.

“With my background in the nonprofit sector, Bank of Canton’s community involvement appealed to me,” she said.  “I continue to be impressed with the Bank’s dedication to the communities we serve. Not only does the bank give a tremendous amount of charitable contributions to local causes, the time and service employees also contribute speaks volumes about the bank’s core values.”

Tesorero graduated with honors from Salve Regina University and completed a Certification in Graphic and Web Design at the Design Principles Institute through Bridgewater State College.

Brian J. Allsop, Vice President of Investment Services at Bank of Canton, has been chosen by Five Star Professional as a 2012 Five Star Wealth Manager. He is featured in a special section in the February issue of Boston Magazine.

Allsop specializes in pre and post-retirement planning for small business owners, successful professionals and retired individuals. He has conducted seminars for physicians at Greater Boston’s hospitals regarding investments and necessary insurance coverage.

“It is gratifying to be recognized for my efforts in helping professionals maximize their quality of life in retirement,” Allsop said.  “The constantly changing world of finance and banking make it imperative that people plan ahead.”

The Five Star award is presented to service professionals who provide quality services to clients throughout the U.S. and Canada.
