Coffee House

Temple Beth David of the South Shore, in Canton, MA., will host a Coffee House open to the public on Saturday March 5 at 7:00. The featured performer is Brandon Grimes. Brandon is finishing his bachelor’s degree at University of Michigan in voice performance. He is familiar with both the opera stage and musical theatre. Last summer he was a member of the vocal company of College Light Opera in Falmouth, MA where he performed such roles as Hajj (Kismet), Juan Peron (Evita), and Pooh-Bah (Mikado.) He will also appear in their 2011 season. This March, Brandon will also perform the role of Friedrich Bhaer in Mark Adamo’s opera Little Women at the University. Brandon is happy to be performing again in his native Boston area, and to be working with as fine a musician as Gingy Grimes.

Admission is $10 per person. Coffee, soft drinks, and pastries will be sold at the performance. Reservations are required; payment may be made at the door but preferred in advance. Please call the Temple office 781-828-2275 to make a reservation or mail checks to P.O. Box 479, Canton MA 02021.
