Former Patriot to Keynote Chamber Meeting

The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) is pleased to announce that it will hold  its Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, January 20th at 5:30 pm at Christina's in Foxboro.

The program will be feature keynote speaker, Joe Andruzzi, former offensive guard of the New England Patriots where he went on to earn three Super Bowl rings.  Mr. Andruzzi has survived cancer and now runs the Joe Andruzzi Foundation which has a goal of tackling cancer's impact by providing financial assistance for patients and their families as well as funding pediatric brain cancer research.

Additionally, as a brother to three New York firefighters who were all 9/11 responders, Joe organized a trip for 100 New York firefighters to attend a Jets vs. Patriots game at Gillette Stadium in 2002. Joe, his father and brothers were the honorary captains of this game.

The Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony will also recognize local businesses for outstanding community involvement and support. The following will be recognized this year:

Small Business of the Year - McDonald's (Norwood local franchisee)

Large Business of the Year - Mercer

Paul Smith Volunteer of the Year - Mary Raczka, HESSCO

Business Person of the Year - Al DeNapoli, Tarlow Breed Hart & Rodgers, PC

Cost to attend the event is $50.00 for members ($60 for non-members) and $350.00 for a table of eight ($400 for non-members) and includes a full dinner with a cash bar cocktail reception.  Reservations are required and can be made by visiting www.nvcc.com or calling 781-769-1126.
