How Many Millionaires Live in Canton?

Canton ranks 54th in the state in terms of millionaire filers.

According to data compiled by the Boston Business Journal, Canton ranks 54th in the state out of the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts in terms of the number of millionaire filers.

In 2010, there were 56 millionaire filers in Canton, which is roughly one millionaire filer for every 385 residents in town.

The total reported income among Canton's millionaire filers was about $3.35Β million.

Statewide, there were more than 10,000 millionaire filers in 2010, with a combined reported income of more than $36 billion, according to the Boston Business Journal.

The publication reports Boston and Newton have the highest total number of millionaire filers, while Weston has the most millionaire filers on a per capita basis (one out of every 27 residents).
