NVCC Honors Outgoing Chairman of the Board, Anthony Caruso, Bank of Canton

The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce held their 118th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on January 19.

The held their 118th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on January 19, 2011 at Showcase Live-Patriot Place to honor 2011’s outstanding Members and retiring Board Members.

Anthony Caruso, Senior Vice President Branch Administration for & outgoing NVCC Chairman of the Board was honored for his leadership and dedication to the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2011. 

Despite a stagnant economy, his guidance helped the NVCC build membership, strengthen governance and gain significant recognition throughout the region as a proactive resource for small and large businesses.

“Maintaining a proactive Chamber has been a high priority of mine," Caruso said.  "As businesses, industries and organizations face both setbacks and opportunities in this uncertain economy, our Board and staff have positioned the Chamber to provide assistance and resources in a variety of areas, including economic development, healthcare and health insurance, transportation, housing, culture, senior services, and local, state and national legislation.”

Kevin Hallinan, of WINNING Inc. was elected as the incoming NVCC Chairman of the Board, replacing Anthony Caruso, Bank of Canton.

“I look forward to working with Kevin Hallinan," said Tom O’Rourke, President and CEO of the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce. "As a sales trainer he knows how important, it is for a company to grow, which is one of our priorities this year. I know he will help us in that area and many others.”
