PHOTOS: Crossfit HomeBase Throwdown

The first annual event, organized by a former Canton police officer, took place over the weekend in Canton.

Crossfit Homebase, owned by former Canton police officer Kevin Foley, located at 960 Turnpike St. in Canton had their First Annual In House Throwdown on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Both men and women participated in the event over the weekend. It started with a 400 meter fast run, throwing heavy weighted balls in the 25 pound range up in the air against the wall and then jumping up, both feet onto elevated boxes.

Foley just started blogging for Canton Patch. Follow his blog which will feature everything from nutrition, recipes, cross fit training and fitness in general. You can direct your questions to him on his blog on Canton Patch.
