ORANGE....is vibrant. It's hot, healthy, fruity, engaging and currently a trendy, hip color. Orange can also be cheerful, energetic and uplifting it is often synonymous with autumn yet the brighter oranges are a summer color. The color orange is the only color named from a fruit. On the spectrum of light, and in the traditional color wheel, it is located between red and yellow. In design orange can be used as an accent color on a focal wall or in a dining room above wainscoting, the color can stimulate the appetite and is used in many fast food restaurants for that reason. Accent with accessories through out a room such as pillows, lamps and vases. Using orange in fabrics can add a focal point to any room and a bold punch of color. Bold stripes and geometrics work well in orange tones when choosing fabrics for draperies or upholstery.
