Especially for Pets, a Massachusetts pet food and supply company with stores located in Acton, Canton, Medway, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland and Westborough is proud to announce Breanna Leonard as the 2013 Employee of the Year.
Breanna joined the Especially for Pets team in Canton in 2010 after leaving an unethical situation at a previous job at a dog boarding/daycare facility where the owner was mistreating the animals. Breanna spent the next year tirelessly to have the facility closed down. Canton store manager Bonnie Chepovsky knew immediately that Breanna’s passion for animals and their welfare was genuine and that she would be a great addition to the Especially for Pets family.
Breanna works as a customer service associate and obedience trainer. Not only is she very reliable, she delivers outstanding customer service and is often on the sales floor greeting animals and their humans as well. Breanna owns five rescue dogs and is currently fostering two dogs. She has worked with many pit bull rescue groups, and will drop anything to go pick up a dog that is in need. Breanna offers a great deal of her free time to help train rescue dogs; she rehabilitates foster pit bulls and then finds homes for them.
Breanna exemplifies the Especially for Pets’ mission by being extremely knowledgeable, providing outstanding customer service, and having a passion for pets,” said Michael DiTullio, president and owner of Especially for Pets. “It gives me great pleasure to recognize Bree’s achievements.”
